Mennan Aksoy was born in Gaziantep in 1952. Mennan Usta, who is married and has three children, started his business life after primary school. Mennan Aksoy, who founded his own company in 1973, first manufactured parts used in safes, then produced spare parts for the automotive industry. After establishing a certain order in standard production, Mennan Usta, who searched for more qualified work with his inquisitive personality, started injection molding and mold manufacturing.

In 1996, with the first TÜBİTAK project of Gaziantep, which it prepared together with Gaziantep University, it started to produce carpet yarn machines that can be manufactured in a few countries such as Germany, Italy and France. It successfully completed this project and was awarded the Technology Achievement Award in 1998. With the successful completion of the first project, it focused on R&D studies in the following years. It successfully completed eight TÜBİTAK projects and broke new ground in the production of Synthetic Fiber and Yarn in Türkiye. It made a significant contribution to our country by selling the machines it produced to countries such as Brazil, Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and Iran as well as domestically. As of 2013, the design studies of systems that are more advanced than their European counterparts continue with the studies carried out with the support of the University in the synthetic yarn machines it produces.
