Founder Mennan Usta
I would like to talk about Mennan Usta who participated as a speaker at the Informatics Summit which continued throughout the Cebit Informatics Fair in 2008. Mennan Usta was the person who made the most impression on me during the event where dozens of businessmen and academicians participated as speakers. Today, I joined a conversation where I was given examples of people who did not have a serious education or left their education and succeeded in doing great things. While talking about Bill Gates dropping out of school Mennan came to my mind. I would like to share his story with you briefly. Mennan who is 54 years old and only graduated from primary school is known as a machine genius. After a maximum of 10 minutes of the machines he saw in industry fairs he can do the same. Due to this extraordinary talent, he is forbidden to enter the industrial fairs in Europe and America and he is able to find a way to enter again. Mennan, considered as one of the most important industrialists in Gaziantep and Turkey, designed and manufactured dozens of machines ranging from the carpet yarn machine, pot-boiler machines to peanut machines. He spent $ 7 million on R & D to produce these machines. Mennan machines were exported to Syria, Pakistan, Morocco, Romania, Iran and others. The first knitting yarn Mennen managed to master in Turkey was also sold to Brazil and thus becoming exporter of technology. I would like to emphasize that a documentary should be made of Mennan Master, who is a quite a sympathetic person. In addition to their contributions to the industry, they have made great contributions to the national economy by providing employment.
